Sir,
The enemy is routed, and our advances are huge. By now we control all of the territory of one enemy except an enclave in the galactic south, and almost half of our biggest enemy. They have no fleet, either of them. If it was up to me, we would end this charade now, but that's up the politicians.

-----------------------

Advisor note: It should end soon, yes. But our allies demand we pursue total victory, sir.

Dear Sir,
Gods the praised! The marvels of gateways have been unlocked by our illustrious scientists! With this fantastic invention, we can construct gateways anywhere, sending our ships fast to any other system with another gateway!

--------------------

Advisor note: Excellent. I suggest we prepare resources for building at least four; one in our capital system, one in the Cybrex Alpha system, and one in the galactic north and south each.

Dear Sir,
It is my pleasure to announce that the first of the four ringworld sections are completed in the Cybrex Alpha system! Praise the gods, they are merciful! This marvel of construction will soon be a beacon of light in the galaxy!

------------------

Advisor note: Excellent work! As is only proper, the first colonists will arrive from our home world soon.

Dear Sir,
Peace is upon us! The gods, who made us strong, has made us victorious! We won completely and obliterated all the enemy fleets, and secured several systems in the galactic north. Now the vultures decent upon the beaten, as we draw back and begin building peace!

---------------------

Advisor note: The time is now to focus on building the ring worlds, gateways and, perhaps when time, technology and resources allow, other megastructures. We are truly blessed.

Dear Sir,
Our friends and allies the Suramo has agreed to be integrated into our glorious Confederacy! Praise the gods! Only good things can come of this!

-------------------

Advisor note: A big scoop. They are big, controlling no less than 11 systems with planets, and large resources. This will also connect our territory again.

Sir,
The time has come, the time to repay a debt long due. The dimensional horror almost broke us during the Suramo War, now we return with vengance. The forces sent are so powerful there is no chance of defeat this time.

---------------

Advisor note: And we won. Not without losses, but the losses were small enough. Praise be the gods!

Dear Sir,
It's incredible! Wonderful! Exciting! Our heads swirl! The dimensional horror, when banished, left behind an anomaly, which we have discovered is nothing less than a dimensional rift! A peek into another dimension! The possibilities for SCIENCE! We need to dig deeper, sir.

---------------------

Advisor note: A probe is sent in to investigate. We better not regret this.

Dear Sir,
The gifts from the dimensional rift keep coming. Hopefully something really interesting will come too, not just energy credits and minerals... Imagine what could lie hidden beyond the veil...

--------------------

Advisor note: Minerals and energy credits... We are already at full storage capacity for both. Oh well.

Dear Sir,
I am sorry to say the dimensional rift is no more. It just...closed and disappeared, with no hint on how to reopen it. This is a sad day for science.

-----------------------

Advisor note: On the other hand, no dimensional horror came back either, so it's not completely a loss, is it?

Dear Sir,
It saddens me to hear that this clerical error on Ereglaur has resulted in such a mess. What is even worse though, is it has made us a laughing stock of the galaxy! The snickers from our neighbours, gloating over our misfortune. Jealous, the lot of them!

-----------------------

Advisor note: Jealousy is a sad thing. Sadder still is the plight of our citizens, though. Funds have been dispersed, they will get what they need to fix this!

Sir,
It's time to end the marauder threat on the galactic northern front! Our ships are in position and moving towards the enemy as we speak. They will not threaten the outer rim again.

--------------

Advisor note: The first system is down, but their main system is of equal strength to our nearby fleet. Proceed with caution.

Dear Sir,
We have done as ordered. We have made a deal with the Whisperers of the Void. I am not sure how wise it is, we know nothing about them. What is their end game?

-------------------

Advisor note: This is a gamble, there might be a price to pay. Already an uptick of mental problems have surfaced. May the gods hold their hands over us.

Topic: Marauders

Sir,
I regret to inform you that admiral Jeardra Nlossae did...poorly in her pursuit of the marauders. She attacked, she got overwhelmed and she foolishly thought she could handle it. She waited too long to discharge and retreat. We have lost almost the entire Host of Halamar and will need to rebuild it. All is not lost though. We have a second grand fleet sent up to the area, and a bright young captain suggested we hire the marauders themselves to strengthen our fight against the marauders. It seems counterintuitive, but it works. The marauder fleets in our employ will gladly attack their own kind, doubly weakening the enemy!

----------------

Advisor note: It seems stupid, but it's so stupid it might actually work!

Sir,
It is done, by the gods' mercy we claim victory! The Ymorz are no more. Their threat to the galaxy is extinguished. Glory to the Confederacy!

--------------------

Advisor note: The Admiral fails to inform you on the threat the last fleet of Ymorz sent before they did their emergency jump, sir. They vow vengance. It is doubtful they will prove any more of a threat at this point, but a nuisance? Perhaps.

Sir,
The marauders have lost their head. They initiated communications, screamed about vengance, announced their coming revenge. And then, nothing. They are nowhere to be seen. The cowards finally showed their true face.

Advisor note: Well, then. Nothing better.

Dear Sir,
I'm sorry to say that a clerical error has occured on Caradbarad, causing untold suffering to the people living on the planet. Slums and industrial wastelands have formed, unbefitting of a great Confederation like ours. And a blemish to our intergalactic prestige, I might add.

----------------------------

Advisor note: Blemish or not, it's not befitting our Confederacy. Funds are being dispersed immidiately, to fix this problem once and for all!

Dear Madam,
"It whispers. The sound is everywhere. I can't get it out of my head! I. Can't. Get. It. Out. Please, help!"
This was what the holovideo of my good friend G'Rrib-Gnash sent me the other day. It turns out he's turned to drugs to drown them out. The whispers. It seems there are some serious repercussions for knowledge of this kind.

------------------

Advisor note: He's not alone either. More and more people report problems of this kind. We need to fund research on how to fix this.
